Meet the Fallbrook Team Behind DryMark Restoration Fallbrook

We’re the crew that shows up when water’s still moving through your subfloor or when smoke damage has settled into the rafters of your Fallbrook home. Every technician here works under The Haven Standard, which means a written price before we start, a photo record before we leave, and a 365-Day Done Right Promise stamped on the paperwork. What unites us isn’t corporate training. It’s that we’ve all been on the other side of a job gone wrong, and we refuse to run ours that way.

Our People

Alicia Brennan, Owner

I started DryMark Restoration Fallbrook in 2011 after six years adjusting claims for a major carrier. The pattern was relentless: homeowners with legitimate water and fire losses getting underpaid or denied because the restoration company they’d hired couldn’t produce documentation. No moisture logs. No photo sequence. No written scope to compare against the policy language. I built this company around the documentation gap because I watched it cost people their kitchens, their bedrooms, their peace of mind. I still review every job file personally before it goes to an adjuster. If the psychrometric data doesn’t support the invoice, we don’t send it. My desk is cluttered with drying logs, my phone stays on for emergency calls, and I keep a Phoenix 200 HT dehumidifier in my own garage because I trust the equipment that much. The Haven Standard has twelve clauses. I wrote them. I enforce them. And I sign the warranty on every job we complete in Fallbrook.

Marcus T., Lead Water Technician

Marcus has been drying structures for fourteen years, the last eight of them in North San Diego County. He’s IICRC-certified in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), which means he can read a moisture map the way a carpenter reads a grain pattern. He specializes in hardwood floor rescue using the Injectidry HP60 panel system, a pressurized drying method that forces dry air through the flutes of individual planks rather than tearing them out. Homeowners in the Fallbrook Heights area have had him back for three separate jobs because he remembers which way their slab slopes and where the 1970s addition starts. Off the clock, he restores vintage motorcycles and applies the same patience to both: measure twice, force nothing, document everything.

Elena R., Senior Mold Remediation Installer

Elena joined us in 2019 after running her own abatement crew in Riverside County. She’s RIA-certified and holds the ACAC Council-certified Microbial Remediator (CMR) designation, which matters when we’re working in the older ranch homes off Reche Road where ventilation was an afterthought and mold has been colonizing wall cavities since the Carter administration. Her specialty is tertiary drying, the final phase of a water loss where vapor pressure differentials drop below the threshold that supports active mold growth. She explains it to customers as “starving the mold of its elevator before it reaches the next floor.” Elena keeps a field notebook with sketches of every containment she’s built, and she’s been known to call a homeowner three weeks after clearance testing just to ask if they smell anything unusual. She grows tomatoes in Fallbrook’s avocado belt and claims the humidity management is identical.

David K., Service Coordinator

David is the voice on the other end of (760) 421-5658 at 2 a.m. when a pipe has burst in De Luz and the homeowner doesn’t know whether to call a plumber first or start moving furniture. He’s been with us since 2017 and has dispatched crews to more than 4,000 losses. He doesn’t read from a script. He asks three questions: where’s the water coming from, what’s it touching, and have you turned off the supply. Then he tells you exactly how long until Marcus or Elena is on the road. David coordinates directly with insurance adjusters during business hours, sending our photo documentation and written scopes so the claim file is complete before the adjuster opens it. He was a firefighter in Orange County for twelve years before a knee injury ended that career, and he treats every sewage backup and biohazard call with the same procedural calm he learned in the engine house. He lives in Fallbrook with two rescue dogs who are, in his words, “better trained than most technicians I’ve worked with.”

Jesse P., Restoration Apprentice

Jesse started with us in 2023 after completing the restoration program at Palomar College. He’s working toward his IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) certification and currently shadows Marcus on water losses while handling demolition and containment setup independently. He’s already built a reputation for finding hidden moisture pockets in the stucco-over-frame construction common in Fallbrook’s 1980s subdivisions, using a Tramex moisture encounter to map the migration paths that less patient techs miss. Jesse grew up in Bonsall and knows the microclimates here, how the Santa Ana winds can drop relative humidity to desert levels in October and how the marine layer in June can keep subfloors damp for weeks. He documents every reading in his daily log without being asked, which is why Alicia approved him for unsupervised site visits after six months instead of the usual twelve.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard travels with us whether we’re working on a single-family home off Mission Road or coordinating with our network on a multi-unit loss in Oceanside. Alicia built these clauses after reviewing thousands of denied claims, and every technician here can recite the ones that matter most: Clause 1, the written price before work starts. Clause 4, the photo record on every visit. Clause 7, the 365-Day Done Right Promise, signed and stamped, not verbal. Our equipment comes from the same manufacturers, our drying logs follow the same format, and our documentation meets the same IICRC, RIA, and IFA standards whether the job is in Fallbrook or fifty miles north. What changes is the local knowledge: which streets flood first in a winter storm, where the clay soil holds moisture against foundations, how the avocado groves affect local humidity patterns. That’s what the team brings. The standard is already set.
